FAQ's From Satisfied Clients
In your opinion, is it best to purchase new hearing aids, rather than refurbished or used? My Audiologist quoted around AUD$10,000 for the top of the range and you are under £2,000, is that consistent? If I purchase from yourself, would I receive the same boxed items as in what she would have provided?
New is going to better and most likely cheaper in the long run. Used/refurbished devices have minimal warranty coverage. For the price I can provide brand new devices with warranty it's mad to go any other way. Yes you will receive the exact same box with the same stuff inside. But the receipt will be considerably lighter!
With the iPhone compatible hearing aids, are they also compatible with Android mobile phones? I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone.
Yes the S5 is compatible, but it offers less functionality than iPhone. iPhone has full function giving you the ability to adjust volume, tone, programs and stream voice/music. Android can control the devices but not stream voice/music yet. The Samsung S5 and S6 are compatible with the remote control functions.
I live in America – what does it cost to ship to me?
Hearing aids are shipped with free worldwide delivery, even to America.
Can you program the hearing aids to my hearing loss?
Yes – it is a condition of supply that you send us a copy of your audiogram so that we can have one of our expert audiologists program the devices to suit your hearing levels.
What if I need them adjusted, checked or serviced?
We recommend that you find a local, qualified hearing care practitioner. If you need a check up, a hearing test or some light servicing they should be able to provide this to you on a “pay per visit” service.
How future proof are these hearing aids? 3-5 years or more?
All of the devices we supply are the most up to date products. Hearing aids generally last patients 5 years if you look after them.
Would you arrange for the repair under warranty through the manufacturer or would they be fixed elsewhere?
The best way would be for you to go to a local dealer and ask them to send the devices for a warranty repair. If the device requires servicing through the manufacturer you can ask them to forward the device for you or send to us and we will look after this. Explain that you bought the devices when in the UK. The local dealer may charge a nominal handling charge.
